Mr. Neal Gerdes and Mr. Rory Foster are life savers. We had a nightmare of a contractor who took advantage of us and Mr. Gerdes helped us until the end of our project. He came in and FIXED every detail that is wrong. He is very compassionate, professional, efficient and trustworthy. He listened to our dilemma, offered help right away and answered our gazillion questions. He made sure that every detail needed in the plan for our room addition is complete. It took months for our project to be finished but Mr. Gerdes and Mr. Foster answered all our construction questions as soon as I reach out to them. They reference each of their answers using the Building codes which definitely gave us a peace of mind. Mr. Gerdes answered in detail and attention all the requirements needed by the village to pass the permit process. Thank you so much AKL Architectural Services!!!! I would recommend him to anyone!!!

We loved working with AKL on our renovation (first floor redesign). Neal was our architect and terrific to work with. He walked us through the process, meeting with us several times to get it just right… thank you. I didn’t think I needed design help but trying to pull together a large space, I quickly became overwhelmed. Sarah to the rescue! She took something that I found very intimidating and made it easy and fun. We started with finishes but it was going so well, I asked for her help with new furniture for the space too. My home is beautiful and it’s “me”. Thank you, Sarah, for your great style, professionalism and patience. We truly enjoyed working with AKL.
